PM: Russian budget has surplus of 230 bln rbl in August

MOSCOW, Sep 8 (PRIME) -- Russia's federal budget was executed with a surplus of about 230 billion rubles in August, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin told the government on Friday.

“In August, the federal budget was executed with a surplus. It amounted to about 230 billion rubles. The consolidated regional balance produced about 140 billion rubles more,” he said.

Non-energy revenue grew by 56.5% on the year to 1.82 trillion rubles in the period, while oil and gas revenues has been significantly outpacing last year's figures since September, Mishustin said.

Execution of the federal budget at the end of the year is expected with an expected 2% deficit, he also said.
